Alan Adeleke is an African-American Director, Screenwriter, and Producer born and raised in Memphis, Tennessee. Alan moved to the greater Washington, D.C. in 2012 after transferring from Alabama A&M University to attend Washington Adventist University on an athletic scholarship.
After graduation, Alan discovered his passion for storytelling through poetry and spoken word. Ignited by social awareness during the summer of 2015, Alan used his voice to speak for those without and began spoken word before live audiences from 2016 to 2019 as a form of expression. Alan's love for writing turned into screenwriting in 2018 and shortly after, Alan produced his first concept trailer, "On The Spot," a comedic political satire. Adeleke would go on to Produce and Direct several short films, I Know What You Have, Finding Me, Idawole, True Colors, Redemption, Hi Hope, and upcoming feature film, Differences.
